Welcome to the Living Music Foundation.
It is a joy and honor to receive you here. At LMF, we believe that music is more than sound — it is a language of hope, healing, and opportunity. Our mission is to bring music education to children, youth, and communities who might otherwise never have the chance to discover their talents.
From our home in Mbarara, Uganda, we work every day to make music accessible in schools, villages, children’s homes, and underserved communities. We teach instruments, nurture creativity, and empower young people to believe in what is possible. Many of the children we serve face difficult circumstances, yet through the gift of music they find confidence, purpose, and a sense of belonging.
As someone who has walked a challenging path myself, I know firsthand how music can transform a life. This is why Living Music Foundation exists — to create opportunities, to open doors, and to inspire hope through every chord and every lesson.
Whether you are visiting to learn about our work, to join us as a volunteer, to support a child, or simply to be inspired — you are most welcome. Your presence here means a lot, because every supporter becomes part of our growing family and part of the change we aim to bring.

Our Guitar class introduces students to the art of playing one of the most versatile and expressive instruments in music

Our Vocal class is designed to help students discover and develop the power of their own voice. Through guided training in pitch, tone, breathing, and expression

Learners explore fundamental drumming techniques, beats, and patterns while developing timing, coordination, and musical expression.
