Living Music Foundation was honored to host Togo Suzuki, an international volunteer who visited us through Roots Intern Organisation (South Africa). During his time in Uganda, Togo was placed at the LMF Office in Mbarara, where he made a meaningful contribution to our music education programs.

Togo worked closely with learners at the office and Kanyeganyegye Community, focusing on keyboard and piano training. With patience, dedication, and a passion for music, he helped students strengthen their technical skills, confidence, and understanding of music. His approach inspired many learners who had limited access to structured instrumental training.
Beyond teaching, Togo’s presence encouraged cultural exchange and showed the power of music as a universal language that connects people across continents. His service is a strong example of how international volunteers can positively impact communities while also growing personally and professionally.
Living Music Foundation is grateful for Togo Suzuki’s contribution, and his journey continues to inspire musicians, interns, and volunteers from around the world to join us in using music as a tool for transformation and empowerment.
